With about a minute left in the Giants victory over the Falcons, Antonio Pierce gave Michael Vick a hard late hit as he was going out of bounds on the Atlanta sideline. He was then surrounded by the majority of the Falcons roster who took exception to the late hit. "They were beating me up pretty good," said Pierce, who is playing with an undisclosed hand injury. "They can thank themselves for that and I can thank myself for knocking out Vick. I can't see if somebody's out of bounds. I'm not going to stop myself there. You see guys who try to pull up and then they're out for the year with a torn ACL. If they thought it was late, it was late." "I was a little frustrated about what had been going on," Vick said. "I know Pierce truly knew I was running out of bounds. We talked during the game and he seemed like a pretty cool dude and he was going to take that shot at the end, it kind of upset me. Not only me but everybody."
